Club of the Year
Participation is free and youth of local regional clubs are encouraged to work together to create a scrapbook depicting the different activities they were involved in throughout the previous year.
All entries are due in the ApHC office by March 1.
2010 Regional Club of the Year Winner
The Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) and Appaloosa Youth Association (AYA) would like to congratulate the Appalachian Appaloosa Association (AAA) Youth Club for winning the 2010 Regional Club of the Year award!
The Appalachian Appaloosa Association is no stranger to this prestigious honor after winning the same title in 2009. Members of the club worked together to create an inspiring scrapbook which provided a detailed account of the club’s activities and achievements that took place during the 2010 year. The scrapbook presented a creative image of the fun that was had during the year, as well as the importance of hard work, perseverance, unity and friendships.
In 2010, the Appalachian Appaloosa Association youth members participated in a variety of fun and educational events including, but not limited to, field trips, trail rides, contests, and clinics. Furthermore, the AAA Youth Club also participated in fundraisers to help raise money for their club.
The Youth Regional Club of the Year competition was designed to promote a higher level of youth involvement in regional clubs. To compete for this prestigious award, youth regional clubs must submit a scrapbook detailing the various activities they have participated in during the previous year along with a completed entry form. Entries must be submitted to the ApHC office by March 1st to be considered.
