Contests & Scholarships

he Appaloosa Youth Association offers many unique and fun contests that you can get involved in! Whether you own your Appaloosa or not, the AYA offers a variety of programs where you can compete for US Savings Bonds and other awards and prizes.

Youth contests are designed to promote the talents of Appaloosa youth. If you love writing, perhaps the Junior Journalist Contest or AYA Essay Contest is for you. If you're more interested in the visual arts, you might want to consider entering our art contest or photography contest.

If you're a member of the AYA between the age of fourteen and eighteen, you may want to consider applying for the new Appaloosa Youth International Exchange Program, which gives the winning applicants the chance to spend a time overseas competing.

As another benefit of membership, the Appaloosa Youth Foundation awards thousands of scholarship dollars each year to members pursuing higher education.
